Raised by Rockstars Chapter 20

     Hawthorne sat on the grass with his sobbing friend and patted his back. Jett cried until his eyes were dry and he whiped them with the edge of his sleeve.
    "I know this is hard, bro. I betcha anything Johnny's watching you though and makin' sure you're okay. He loves you so much," he said to try and help him. Jett nodded his head and leaned back and laid on the grass and stared at the sky.
     "Do you really think they're up there watchin' me, our dads, Val, and Jimmy?" Jett asked. Hawthorne sighed and looked up.
     "I betcha they are. The band was everything to Dad and I'm sure Zacky and Johnny felt the same way. They're probably sad that Avenged Sevenfold broke up, but happy that everyone is alright."
     Jett and Hawthorne laid there for a few minutes watching the clouds pass by. Jett thought about how all dead people turn into angels. All angels stay in Heaven and watch their loved ones on Earth go through life. Guardian angels are called guardian angels for a reason, so Zacky and Johnny must be watching him. Jett hoped they were. He thought they would be proud of what he's become as a person.
     Jett's thoughts were interrupted by the slamming of a car door at the bottom of the hill and someone yelling his name. "Jett! Jett Axel! Your father's been looking for your ass!" Jimmy's familiar voice called. He picked up his head and looked at him. Jimmy looked frustrated or mad. His arms were crossed and he wasn't laughing.
     "Umm...do you mean you were looking for me or was Dad?" Jett asked in comedy to try and make Jimmy laugh.
     "Brian, not me. He was home and he called me asking if I knew where you were. I didn't know and he said he already called Matt to see if you were at his house but he said you weren't home and neither was Hawthorne. I knew you were with him so I knew you couldn't have gotten in much trouble. I didn't go looking for you but I had to go to Johnny's grave today and I just found you."
     "Sorry. I wasn't planning on staying this long," Jett said.
     "I don't know why Brian is worried like he is, but he was a real basketcase. I think something's wrong. You should go home. And you should go home, too, Hawthorne. Your mom doesn't like not knowing where you're at."
     "Kay, Jimbo," Hawthonre said and got off the grass and started off. What would be so worrisome for Brian? He normally doesn't mind him leaving the house. Jett walked home and got in his house to find his dad on the phone with Jason Berry. He sounded frantic. He looked at Jett ans told Jason he had to get off the phone.
     "Is something wrong?" Jett asked.
     "Umm, yeah. I gotta question for you," Brian said. Jett looked at him with a contorted face and Brian told him to sit at the table.
     "What's going on...?"
     "Jett, you need to be honest with me, okay? I'm not gonna f**kin kill you if you talk to me but you gotta tell me what's up," Brian said seriously. Jett looked at him and agreed to tell the truth. "Okay, umm, this is really hard to ask cuz I'm a guy and you're a guy and there's no mom to have this talk with you...but umm...did you get a girl pregnant?"
